What can we say. We love Spain.

At Ox and Angela we are dedicated to the good food and easy dining habits of this country.

We are influenced by the flavours and traditional dishes of many regions of Spain, but we most enjoy the WAY they eat. All our dishes are ‘tapas’, meant to share with the table. We import some Spanish ingredients such as Jamons, Conservas, Olive Oils and Cheeses, but the majority of the menu showcases local produce and meats with a contemporary twist. 

The philosophy of this food is to have as many dishes in front of you as can fit on the table, the flavours of each plate work well alone, but somehow are better when mixed with a little bit of everything else.

Our Wine List boasts one of the largest selection of Spanish Wines in Alberta. The list does span the globe too, showcasing small, sustainable, organic and Biodynamic producers, many whom we consider friends.

We also love Sherry, Gin Tonics and cocktails.

Our bar is known for its generous Gin Tonic list, creative, custom cocktails, fresh ingredients and unique spirits. Although we offer a large section of our own cocktails, Ox and Angela was voted #1 for the best Old Fashioned in the city.

We are open seven days a week for dinner and for brunch on Saturdays and Sundays (and most long weekend Mondays).

We love parties and are a great venue for groups of many sizes.
